The brief for this pool design was to connect the pool with the house renovation and blend in with the views of Sydney Harbour. A two sided wet edge (infinity edge) swimming pool was created to blend in with the style of house and outlook.
The modern house consisted of whites, greys and blacks which then translated into the pool finishes. It was important the pool felt connected with the architectural design of the contemporary house. Steel framed stairs with terrazzo stairs and landings blends in with the industrial facade of the home. Terrazzo was also used around the pool to blend in with the flooring inside the house. Crazy paving on the balance tank wall and turquoise pool tiles gave the finishing touches to this harbour side pool.
